$300M Added to NJ Budget for Water Infrastructure

Governor Murphy recently signed into law the FY2023 New Jersey state budget. In doing so, an additional $300 million of funding will be dedicated in the coming fiscal year towards water infrastructure projects. This represents the largest investment of its kind that we have seen in a state budget. NUCA NJ supported the efforts of UTCA and our labor partners in this effort. We thank them for leading the charge on behalf of the industry as well as Governor Murphy and legislative leaders for providing this historic, and hopefully recurring, investment.
