The NUCA NJ Board of Directors recently convened in a special meeting to determine the succession of its leadership after the recent passing of its founder and President Joe Walsh. The Board unanimously selected Jeff Waters of Waters and Bugbee, Inc. to take over as President. Joining Jeff in leadership will be Vincent Santaite of Montana Construction as Vice President and Lou Pillari of Pillari Bros. Construction Corp. will remain as the Board's Secretary/Treasurer. Lisa Chowansky of HC Constructors Inc. will move up to the first Director position. In accepting the new position, Jeff reiterated his commitment to hearing the problems experienced by our members and working to make concrete changes for the better in his upcoming tenure. He will also be presiding over the Association's first annual Day at the Races coming up on September 17th as well as leading our delegation to Washington D.C. for the upcoming NUCA Summit. NUCA NJ staff would like to thank its new leadership team for their willingness to serve and strong commitment to continuing to make our chapter stronger and even more impactful.
