NJUA Honors NUCA NJ Founder Joe Walsh

Each year, the New Jersey Utilities Association honors an individual who, throughout his or her career, has made a significant contribution to the utility industry in our state. The Distinguished Service Award - the most prestigious award granted by the NJ investor-owned utility companies and reserved only for those leaders that stand out and serve as a true example for all, was posthumously presented this year to NUCA NJ Founder and President Joe Walsh. The NJUA Board of Directors voted unanimously for Joe, and he joins a short list of legendary names that have won this award at past conventions.

NUCA NJ board member Andrew Wood (J. Fletcher Creamer & Son / API Group) accepted the award and provided remarks on Joe's behalf. Joe's son Andrew was also in attendance and is pictured below with the award. We could not think of a more deserving person for this award and thank the NJUA for bestowing this great honor upon our dearly missed colleague.
