In an effort to ensure proper implementation of the federal infrastructure funding bill and to address both workforce development issues and supply chain shortages within our industry, a delegation of NUCA NJ board members and staff traveled south last week to the NUCA Washington Summit. Our group secured high level meetings on Capitol Hill with the offices of several key Congressmen, including Bill Pascrell (D-9), Jeff Van Drew (R-2), and Josh Gottheimer (D-5) where we had a chance to discuss these issues. NUCA also hosted receptions with other high-level staff from federal agencies, as well as great networking events for members from around the country to come together, do business, and share ways to better the industry.
