Earlier this year, the Murphy Administration rolled out a climate change campaign known as PACT (Protecting Against Climate Threats). This regulatory reform effort is aimed at modernizing the State's environmental laws. According to the Governor, "NJ PACT will usher in systemic change, modernizing air quality and environmental land use regulations, that will enable governments, businesses and residents to effectively respond to current climate threats and reduce future climate damages." To ensure that whatever rules stem from this effort are good for the environment AND fair to the construction industry, NUCA NJ has joined a coalition of business groups that will work together with the Administration towards a reasonable outcome.
