Action by the full U.S. Senate is expected within the week on S914 - the Drinking Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Act of 2021. The bill calls for $30 billion in federal funding for the Clean Water and Drinking Water state revolving funds which represents a historic investment in our nation's water systems. Support for the bill has been bipartisan and unanimous thus far. NUCA National and NUCA NJ lobbyists have been securing votes for the bill and are encouraged that when the even higher levels considered in the House are taken into account, an unprecedented amount of work is likely to be funded in NJ over the next five years.
