We are devastated by the passing of our Board President, founder, and dear friend Joe Walsh. NUCA NJ would not exist without Joe’s foresight and leadership. His determination to create a group completely focused on representing the utility contractor was a passion of his for many years and he saw it through. An industry legend, Joe was soon to be nominated by his peers to serve a third year as President, a testament to the admiration felt towards him as well as his importance to the cause. His greatness as a contractor was exceeded only by his reputation as an honest and humble person, and stand up guy. His quick wit and big laugh made every encounter special, and so many looked up to him as a role model. He helped countless individuals better their careers and their lives over the years. We will miss Joe deeply and extend our sincerely condolences to his wife Dawn, his sons Andrew and JT whom he was so very proud of, and the entire Walsh family.
