The State Legislature is considering a bill to renew the Transportation Trust Fund which must be reauthorized soon to avoid shortfalls. Our affiliated organization UTCA has been leading the charge for the TTF renewal which has now passed several key committees. NUCA NJ has lent its support for the bill and continues to lobby for its passage. While the funding is primarily dedicated to road and bridge construction, the fact that many of our members are multidisciplinary and also that many of these projects require complimentary utility work, it will benefit the construction industry as a whole. We look forward to the continued progress of the legislation as it moves towards the Governor's desk.
